Hard Work Never Fails
As soon as Rahul stepped out of the train, he was greeted with a large crowd of people of his village cheering for him. He was showered with flowers and garlands. He was handed over the finest clothes and gifts he could have thought of. He had returned to his village after 3 years. They all were congratulating him for his great achievement.
Rahul, a twenty-year-old young, athletic and smart lad, lived in Majuli, a small village in Assam. From a very small age, he had developed an interest in shooting. His destiny was in becoming a gold medalist in shooting. Though his family disapproved to this, he never lost hope. His mother always supported and motivated him to follow his dreams. After listening to many taunts and with the encouragement of his mother, he finally decided to join an academy to train himself for the upcoming Commonwealth Games. He worked hard and never let anyone down. He trained very earnestly and was ready to play.
Consequently, at the age of twenty- three, he did it. He won the first gold medal in the Commonwealth Games for India. He showed everyone that hard work and discipline is the key to success, no matter who says what. Everyone was shocked to see, that a young boy from such a small town of Assam could achieve such a high goal. He motivated and inspired others to follow their heart's desires and proved everyone that was against him wrong.
