Happiness or success ?

Conversation between two friends compelled me to think about what is more important in life success or happiness?

 A 55 years-old villager came to the city for a function for 3 days. The first morning, while go to the market he looked an expensive car stopped beside him. A rich person calling him by his childhood nickname from the backseat of a car. He recognized the man, his childhood friend Adam he was. Adam asked him to come to Adam's home which was nearby. The villager got ready to visit Adam's home for coffee. 

  Adam told him in a car that he was too happy that day to see his childhood friend Ricco(villager) because adam belonged to a poor family and Recco was his only friend in school, most of the student made fun of Adam because of his torn clothes only Ricco would support him in class, therefore, Adam wanted to become rich. As an aspirant of success, Adam left the village, didn't return. 

Both reach Adam's house, Ricco stunned to see it as an expensive big house of Adam. there were dozens of servants who welcomed Ricco. Adam asked for coffee from one of his servants, Ricco showed his happiness upon the success of Adam. Adam replied that he was also happy to see his friend at this point of life. 

After a small conversation Ricco felt that Adam's phone was ringing often, which was not answered by Adam so he asked why he was not answering the phone calls. Adam answerd that, "My childhood friend is with me so I want to give him all my intentions otherwise most of the time I keep myself busy at work. Ricco felt that Adam want to say something but hesitating to speak so Recco asked to tell him anything freely as a friend. 

Adam told him, "Dear Ricco I'm feeling too happy to meet you today but one thing is making me slightly sad that you were better than me in the study and other things too even you did not come to the city and worked hard for your success. you could be rich you might have a status, you could have anything that you want still you have been just a poor villager". Ricco smiled at him and said, "My childhood friend who had not enough time for anything giving me time to me for my previous deed maybe, I earn enough that I could fulfill my family's all need. Don't know about status but I have everything that I want. Everybody looks at me with respect in the village what makes me happy. I enjoy all festivals, family time, friends time, and my farming. If I'm happy enough so without any materialistic expensive things. What the use of success for me!"

  Adam take a loop then said, I'm the role model of thousands of employees but you compelled me to think that what is more important in life Happiness or success?
