Guts to Share Before Hand

She was like any other girl bubbling with energy, excited as her life was about to change.  Tall dark handsome was what she often read in her fantasy world especially influenced by Spanish and Italian set up work of fiction. But she was an achiever with her exams now. she brushed aside her thoughts and kept a hold on the event scheduled after a month. Exams are done, she had to wind up with her job too for that was the condition for the marriage. Her father had convinced and pleaded her to give up her job. She obediently accepted against her will and wish. For she loved her father a lot though she believed that a woman has to be strong and independent.

It was her last day of work. . A day left for the wedding. No such event goes smoothly ever. So she too had her chunk of ups and downs on that day. The families were from different states so customs were different and boys family in India definitely has an upper hand. But alas the wedding was a success. They had to travel to the other state so the boys had their party a day later. The girl was full of anxiety carrying an unknown fear. It's the girl who has to adjust and get acquainted to the new house new customs new traditions new family in-laws and a new closest person the stranger husband. It was their nuptial night. . . he was very cordial , asked if she had anything to tell and then he just offloaded his story to her. He was in love with a girl and went ahead with marriage plans with parents consent but was denied. The girls family did not agree. Their acquaintance was for more than five years. Families knew each other but girls father and brother said no.

The boy's story shattered the girls/wife dream . . once in life time crumbled down. For he had No heart in place already given. After the story he kissed her and said its better to be clear and transparent. So he shared with her on this day to start with trust . Girls anguish had no bounds. TRUST Eh!! He did not have the guts to share with her before wedding scared of rejection. And now she could neither back off nor digest fully. The heart pain was excruciating but pasted a smile and carried on as if life is beautiful blissful. That night he touched her kissed her and. . . But the girl put up and did not sleep and the night was long one a nightmarish one.  She couldn't share her pain with anyone. . .

Even Till date. For they say first experience comes only once and it's always the last one. . . Whether memorable or. . . She understood that tall dark handsome sensitive lovers exist only in dreams. Reality is always reality. Not everybody gets love in life. . . . . . She stared at the ceiling all night as an eye drop escaped against background of the happy snores . . . . . .
