"Friends: Our Real Angel"

If anyone asks me what the toughest thing I have found or experienced so far, I would say that saying goodbye is the most challenging. Conversely, the best thing I have experienced is meeting new people and transforming from strangers into friends. I believe I have encountered the best and most incredible people throughout my life, and their presence has shaped who I am today. What I desire now is not luxurious stays, clothes, or shoes, but rather the opportunity to reunite with my friends because they are the real luxury for me.

By God's grace, I have been part of many trips where we met numerous people. By the end of each trip, these individuals were no longer just random people; they were my friends with whom I shared lots of laughter. I think the more we isolate ourselves by not making friends or restricting our social circles, the more joyful moments we miss. If I had thought that I had enough friends and didn’t want to meet new people, I would have missed out on the additional joy my friends could bring into my life. I am always grateful to my friends because every smile I had was with them.

We are on a journey to explore new places, but we should not forget to explore people, for they are the real treasures. Whenever I close my eyes and try to remember something to make myself feel joyful, only moments with my friends and family come to mind. We were raised with the belief that winning something brings long-lasting happiness, but today, remembering winning a trophy doesn’t make me as happy. Instead, when I reflect on my old memories, I find myself surrounded by angels, and they are none other than my friends.

Don't let the feeling of joy be snatched away by framing your thoughts with the idea that everything is temporary and that these new random friends will eventually leave. You must adopt the perspective that what you have now is a real gift. Though saying goodbye is tough, life reminds us that we have to leave everything at some point. But make sure it’s worth enjoying in the present moment.
