Following Rules

Rahul and his friends were very much fun of cycling. Every evening, they used to ride bicycles. Sometimes they also do racing and competitions among them. Usually, they were riding a cycle on the field but one day they went on roads.

In cities, especially on main roads, there remain traffic rules. Everybody has to go through the rules to maintain a normal and safe ride. When Rahul along with his friends went on to the main roads, at one square, they did not follow the rules. Even though traffic lights were red, all of them crossed the signal. When the traffic police wanted to stop them, everyone from that group left at high speed.

After going a few meters away, a bike coming from another side got hit with Rahul and both of them fell down.

Rahul along with the other person on a bike was admitted to the nearby clinic and Rahul's father was informed about him by his friends. His father came immediately and got to know everything from him. Then he advised Rahul and his friends, "There are certain rules and regulations through which we all have to go. If we will not follow them or we will try to break them, trouble will definitely come". And the worst part is, breaking rules by one person may put somebody in trouble who has not to break it. See, because of you people, how the other person faced the trouble and got injections by the doctor. You all go and ask him for sorry.

Rahul and his friends went to that bike uncle and said, " Uncle, we are really very sorry. Please forgive us. We promise you we will never break rules and neither we will put ourselves in trouble nor others. That kind person forgave those children and told them not to do such competitions in crowded place particularly in cities. Riding a bicycle is a very good habit but you guys do it in a playground.

All the boys agreed to his words. At the same time, they also said sorry to the traffic police for not following the rules and his instructions. The traffic police also forgave them and asked not to repeat such mistakes again.

MORAL OF THE STORY- Breaking rules will create trouble for yourself as well as for others.
