Final Departure

Ted was studying in his final year of university. His house was in another town, so everyday he had to walk 30 minutes to the train station to catch the 8 o clock train. The train to his town was often empty around this time, so he was mostly sitting on his own. It took him one hour to get home, so to pass the time he would sometimes study over his university books or some notes.

There was one other passenger in the train with him that night. She was sitting quite far away and her face was obscured by her hair, so Ted couldn't tell who she was. She wasn't moving at all which was odd it seemed like she was looking down at something, but Ted couldn't tell what it was. Ted was trying not to pay attention, but there was something very strange about her.

Anyways Ted got back to his notebook and started writing something to avoid paying attention to the girl. 

Suddenly the girl appeared before him and said, "Hi, my name is Jana. What's your name."

Ted was little shocked, when the girl suddenly sitting in front of him. Her face was very pale and she had big black eyes. She was staring at Ted with a weird smile on her face. Ted felt a little uneasy but then he introduce himself which led to an awkward conversation. 

The girl asked him about his university and she told him that her campus was also nearby. The conversation went on for quite some time and at this point.Ted was starting to feel a bit more comfortable with her.

Ted: Isn't it strange that this train is quite empty.

Jana: Don't you know there have been rumors of people going missing in this train. Everyone in the campus knows about it. This is why I've always avoided taking this train, but due to an emergency.

Ted: I never heard about it. Hey. do you hear something like...

Jana: Like what?

Ted: The strange noise.

Jana: No, I don't hear anything. 

Ted: Listen.

Jana: Where is it coming from? 

Ted: It seems it's coming from outside.

Jana: Yes

Ted: Can you hear it?

Jana: I really can't hear anything.

With a cruel smile, Ted pushed Jana out of the open window.
