Father's Unconditional Love
Father's Unconditional Love
Once upon a time, in the outskirts of a city, there lived a taxi driver with his little daughter. His universe revolved around her. And although life seemed tough and wearying at times, the taxi driver never lost hope. A hope that one day his daughter will grow up to live a better life. Dev was the taxi driver's name. He would seldom eat a full meal, for even an extra piece of bun was hard to earn. it had been 3 years that he had lost his wife due to a disease. Life was good back then. Dev drove his own taxi and earned enough for his little family. But for the treatment of his wife he had to sell his taxi. But sadly, he couldn't save his wife. Now, Mohan drives someone else's taxi. but even after working through hours, he earns hardly enough. he wouldn't eat his breakfast sometime. life was hard for him. daily morning he would drop his little daughter Zara at her school. And from there, he would go into his day routine, driving taxi all the around the city tirelessly. Then Zara grew up so he had to change her school. while dropping her at her new school, Zara said, 'i am scared dad'. 'don't be scared Zara you are brave and smart like your mother' replied dev. That day as dev dropped Zara at her new school, a sense of pride filled dev's heart.he was proud of his daughter going to high school. but he knew that life was going to be challenging more to be ever. At home, Zara asked Dev that she wanted some books showing a list. Aren't they in your school library? asked dev. "no" replied Zara. okay give me the list , dev said and left to buy those. At the shop, these books cost Rs.200 cash or card asked the shopkeeper. Um... I forgot my wallet , excuse me said dev and ran to a shop there he sold his watch and his gold chain and got Rs.200. but his breath shivered as he gave the chain because it was a gift from his wife. Thankyou said dev and bought the books and returned home.
Zara was very happy and hugged her father. day's passed since that night dev started to work for longer shifts as zara's school expenses wee raising. then he went to a shop and bought one hotdog but gave it to his daughter and was starving. that was one one the nights that dev would sleep with an empty stomach. but he would not mind it. for him, his daughter's happiness was everything. now while dev started working longer, Zara began to discover a new world around her friends. her friends wore nail polish and she asked for branded one's to her father. dev got it somehow and gave it to Zara. next day she wore them to school and her friends admired it. one of her friends asked her, who is this man who drops you everyday to school? he is my driver said Zara and went. after hearing it dev became very sad and the full day drove with a heavy heart. for all this while, he was a taxi driver for this world. but now he is a driver to his most loved daughter also. Years passed and Zara grew up and dev became old. then for a trip from school to Zara to go, he sold his wedding ring . then he dropped Zara at the airport .he just wished a happy trip to her and left. there at the airport, Zara realized she has missed her passport at the car. and there dev saw the passport there at the car and he wanted to give it to his daughter . although there was a heavy traffic and he had come far he wasn't letting his daughter miss her flight. he took shortcuts and in the traffic. And when he was nearing the airport gate he met with an accident and fainted in the car. the police and the crowd gathered there. then zara's friend said to her that your driver has met with an accident at the gate. Zara rushed to the gate at looked at her father. dev said, honey you have missed your passport, breathing heavily. tears rolled up in zara's eyes and she hugged her father with love. just then one of her friends asked, Zara is your ticket with your driver? she turned to her friends and said , he is not my driver he is my dad and I am proud of him. dev felt very happy after hearing this. then Zara waved her hands to dev and left for the journey.
And so , this is the story of a daughter and her father's unconditional love for her.
