Eye (lie) Opener

Hi Juhi, how are you? I am Renu Hi Renu what a pleasant surprise. what's up, where were you so busy all this time Juhi continued questioning Renu, her best friend since school time that continued till college days. oh, oo stop exclaimed Renu. I had been working at an MNC in Gurgaon Hectic work you know. Now I am on a business trip to your city. Wow, that is awesome said Juhi. Shall we meet and revive our friendship days questioned Renu. Amazing idea let's meet today evening I will see you at Shangri-La Hotel. Ok, see you in the evening bye said Renu. Juhi was so happy she was going to meet her friend after a long time. She got dressed up and left for the hotel informing her mom that she would be back after finishing dinner at the hotel itself. Once Juhi reaches the hotel, she sees Renu waiting for her both friends exchange pleasantries and enter the Restaurant, order some favourite foodstuff and continue to chat amongst themselves. .                      

The steward comes with the ordered serves it and leaves the table. Juhi and Renu start eating the food when all of a sudden Renu yells steward come here, look what is there in this food that you served, call your manager, this is nonsense and uncalled for. Juhi was shocked and confused as to why Renu was yelling at the Restaurant staff when everything was ok. The manager comes running as to what the ruckus going on. Renu points out at a saree pin that was in the foodstuff that was served. The Restaurant manager is speechless. He apologizes and offers extra dishes to be served free of cost along with waiving the bill too. Juhi and Renu finish their lunch free of cost and walk out happily. Juhi was unaware of what had happened without her knowledge and was shocked on hearing it from her dear friend Renu...Renu had purposely dropped a saree pin that was in her purse so that they could have lunch free of cost. Juhi was dumb stuck at learning how cheap Renu could behave just to avoid paying the Restaurant bill. She was wondering whether this was the same friend Renu that she knew for such a long time and what could have been the reason for exhibiting such cheap behavior that might have troubled the steward at the Restaurant for no mistake of his. That was indeed an eye-opener to the lies that Renu spoke and thereby losing a good friend Juhi who had a good impression about Renu all this time.
