Years ago, once being very irritated by the very small fruit flies that are called noraju/ dwami, that sit on over ripe bananas, I had put some cactus stems/ wind chime on the ceiling.

They hover around your eyes and make you to keep shooing them away.

And after they had settled on the wind chime, I had used a pesticide and killed them all.

Later on, after getting a wee bit glimpse into spirituality through meditation, one day, I keenly observed, the fruit fly that was hovering around my eyes.

I saw for the first time, that this insect, which is less than half a millimetre, has all the organs a body needs, plus the power to fly! And it can never be man-made.

Instantly, I burst into tears, and the meaning of

'vyaptam ena characharam'

dawned on me.

Now, leave alone animate objects like a fruit fly which I just shoo away saying,     'Move away, Father',

I hesitate to use my leg to move even inanimate objects like a chair.
