Every Night...

Every Night...

The deep, bluish but faint rays of the sunlight suffused my room. My wife ran her soft fingers through my cheek that sent shivers down my spine. Her company lasted only for the night, her divine face white in the moonlight, wistful eyes gazing at me. Uncomfortable but pleasing.

With the intensifying of the light, my wife left me alone again. Duty calls.

Enjoying the warm Sunday of lassitude... I threw my arms in all directions, bathed, brushed and headed for the place.

After an hour's walk through the forest off path, with meager sunlight guiding my way, I stood before it, flowers in my hand as usual. I blew away the dust.

"Ash, how do you like this place that you leave me every morning." I whispered as I gently landed the flowers on the green sods.
