In the late 40s when Independence was the only need, there were some people who really wanted to die for a cause. One such was, Shiva, a 17-year old lad who was marked upon by the family to be teacher in school, had some other plans. In the great revolution, where teachers in school were making a great job indeed, Shiva wanted to serve for his country. A well-educated boy never wanted to be the one, but his family had really made many efforts to see him as a professor.

Shiva’s father was a constable working under British supremacy and his mother was a patient of cancer. He had seen many ups and downs throughout his life. Every small penny was dedicated to the teaching of Shiva by his father in English school. It was 1942 and India was struggling for freedom, most of the people had managed themselves under the Britishers to make their both ends meet. India was really in need of more freedom fighters to eradicate the supremacy of Britishers.

Under great efforts and hard-work, Shiva successfully completed his graduation and opted for the vacant posts of teacher. He cleared the entrance in the first attempt which marked festival in his home. It was great news for everyone, except him. A man whose dream to die for the integrity of the nation was positively motivating him to do so and join hands in freedom fighter. Another news startled everyone, Shiva resigned from the vacant designation of teacher and moved on to blindly look for the traitors. After the death of his mother, he left home in 1945 with a gun on to curtail the wrong birds flying over the sky.

Shiva’s dream to die for a cause was added another onto the list. He trained himself alone to fight against every odds, and he was 1 out of 10 who was merely following his dream, others were just a puppet of Englishmen. In the revolt of 1947, Shiva emerged as a victory performing his task, he vanquished around 45 other men and died raising his flag on. Though, in the complete Independence, he was just a mere part but his example of achieving his dream made him a star.

Shiva’s dream to die serving the nation was totally a benchmark. His father killed himself who couldn’t afford his son’s death. Shiva was the example of leader who really wanted to do what many people feared at that time.
