A student's life is a cycle of school, homework, assignments, and exams. Sometimes it can all get a little too much or a simply boring day in and out. Inspirational stories from real-life personalities help to stay motivated.

One such personality being the Missile Man of India, the late Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam.

This World Student's Day - an international day dedicated to students here's some inspiration for when you need it the most.

On May 11, 2015, Dr. Kalam had tweeted, "Today, I remember the hot day of 1998 at Pokhran: 53C. When most of the world was sleeping India's nuclear era emerged." As the chief of the DTDP (Defence Research and Development Organisation), he was camping in the Thar Desert for over a fortnight to bring India at par with the world when it came to defense. Despite repeated failed attempts and international backlash, the launch was a success.

Becoming a fighter pilot was Dr. Kalam's childhood dream and he was close too, having bagged the ninth position out of 25 short-listed candidates. But life had other plans for him and he was not recruited as only eight slots were available. Instead of letting this setback get to him, he made the most of his passion for science and patriotism by joining the DTDP as a researcher and the rest is history.

After resigning from his role as a scientific advisor, the former President made a commitment to interact with 100,000 students by visiting schools and colleges all over the country to hear about their dreams, provide encouragement and support.

From becoming a doctor to a YouTuber, whatever your dream - a PC can help you realize your dream. All you have to do is pick the right one and use it right!
