Rahul was a newly admitted student in a public school. Because of his father's job transfer, the whole family shifted to a new town where Rahul had also got into a new school. It was his first day and as expected he was feeling lonely.

The class teacher entered the class and she started calling students' names for attendance. As Rahul was new, his name was at the end. The class teacher introduced Rahul with his classmates. After all this, the teacher started teaching English. Everyone opened the book. After narrating one paragraph of chapter 11, the teacher asked Roma to read that paragraph. After Roma, it was Keshav's turn. Then in curiosity, the class teacher asked Rahul, "Why don't you start reading? I think we all want to hear from you."

Rahul was a little shy and he stood up from his seat with little shaking legs. He held his book and started reading. The teacher told, "Rahul, please be louder." Rahul again with full consciousness and a louder voice started reading the first line. After reading 3-4 words, he started stammering. All his classmates laughed but the teacher told him to continue anyway. He completed reading that paragraph but with lots of difficulties because of stammering.

The whole class was laughing and teasing at Rahul. He started crying. Then the teacher said to all the students, "stammering is natural and by birth. You should not laugh at it. Nobody will like to stammer but if it is by default then it is absolutely not the fault of that person. Rahul's stammer might be his weak point but on the other hand, he must have some excellent and unusual qualities than us. We should not laugh at him because of his weakness neither we should laugh at anyone who has some difficulties. You all should say sorry to Rahul. Today is his first day and you should make friendship with him and also should make him comfortable."

All the students of the class came close to Rahul, said sorry and shook hands with him. Rahul also felt comfortable and said thank you to all his new friends along with the class teacher.
