Butterflies are really pretty. They are colorful, soft and soothing to eyes. Rimy, after coming from school at 1:pm, takes lunch and roams outside the home. In the sunny afternoon, grandma always tells her not to go but she never listens.

One day grandma followed Rimy. She wanted to know for what work Rimy becomes so curious to go outside in the hot afternoon. She saw that Rimy was catching the butterflies so nicely and then tearing their wings. After doing this she becomes so happy also.

Grandma became so angry and came back home. When Rimy returned, she asked her, "Rimy, where were you?" Rimy told me that "I was just looking after the plants and flowers outside". Grandma could know that she lied to her. She called closer to her, showed her anger and told that she has seen her tearing the wings of butterflies.

Rimy was frightened. Then her Grandma said, "What will happen if somebody breaks your mother's hands?". Who will cook food for you? How will you survive? Those butterflies are somebody's mother, father, brother, sister. Why are you making them handicapped? They are roaming here and there in this sunny afternoon to collect food for their children, their family and you are simply hurting them intentionally. And the worst thing is you are not at all worried about that? How they will reach their home? Their children might be waiting na!

Hearing their conversation, Rimy's father and mother came out from their bedroom. They make her understand that what she was doing so long for her amusement was absolutely wrong. If you will hurt others, God will punish you. Do not do this. Say sorry to all the butterflies.

Rimy went to God's place in her house. She cried a lot in front of God and prayed with holding hands, "Dear God, I am really sorry to hurt those butterflies and their family". Please forgive me. I promise you that I will never hurt anyone in any way. I will love all of them with whom I am surrounded. Please do not hurt my family. I am again saying sorry.

Rimy's grandma, father and mother wiped her tears and told her "God will forgive you but make sure that you will never hurt anyone". Rimy promised to do so and never repeat those mistakes again. Instead, she started to take care of everyone around her including the butterflies.

MORAL OF THE STORY- Love all. Never hurt anyone.
