It's a lockdown, not the end of the world. I am really surprised to hear and see how some companies are treating their employees. They are putting a lot of pressure, fear of losing the jobs and all the things which should be avoided. Companies have to decide, that once this is over, "whether you need a healthy and happy employee or workforce which is frustrated and broken deep down". Everyone knows if you take care of your employees they will take care of your business.
It's time for the companies to reflect what character they are displaying. This will distinguish between the better and the worst. This will test all the leaders down there and will show and reflect on their leadership style. Its time to be with your employees and give them confidence that you are there and will be there at tough times. It's important to build an atmosphere of trust and respect.
It's time to buy loyalty for the lifetime and prepare the best teams for the future. I agree restructuring and layoffs will happen but that can happen with mutual respect and empathy Choice is upto you. You want to be ready with the best possible team you have with you. Or you want to have a team who is willing to leave you for the first available opportunity.
