Deep Within

A war had started between Syria and Turkey in the late 1970s. The Turkish army was winning the war. To pinpoint the army bases near Syria in Turkey, the Syrian army had captured six soldiers from Turkey who were injured in the war. Syria tried to torture the soldiers in may ways, but yet they did not utter a single word, saying you can kill us but you can't take my country. The Syrian government decided to replicate The Russian Sleep Experiment which had happened in the 1940s in Russia in which they were eating each other's body, even though there was enough food in the room.

When this punishment was heard by the Turkish soldiers who were captured in Syria, they didn't care about it. They were pushed to the small room about an RK flat, locked the door from outside. A CCTV camera was installed to watch their activities. Unlike The Russian Sleep Experiment, there was limited food and water, and along with oxygen and the chemical used in The Russian Sleep Experiment, ethargeline sturbenol gas was also used to get control of their mind if they were out of the mind. The soldiers acted abnormal as if they wanted to get out as soon as possible at the 5th day. But the Syrian researchers thought that it was a trap to let them out. They were blabbering things related to suffocation and breathlessness. They were like they wanted to eat themselves but were able to control themselves somehow. It became a torture fo them until 11 days.

Unlike The Russian Sleep Experiment, the things were normal till 11 days, until the 12 th day midnight which was a Saturday, a man woke up suddenly and pierced his sharp nails into another soldiers neck, removing the Adam's apple and eating it. It was found that the man who woke up in the middle of the night was the soldier who was the weakest among all the soldiers.

After the first soldier woke up, two others woke up and saw the scene where he was eating his soldier. They shouted out loud so that other soldiers would also get up to stop the scene. They tried their best to stop their friend to stop doing so but they failed to do it. During the fight several other soldiers, were also injured badly, and some had also got affected by the virus which was effected by the soldier who was eating his friend. After sometime all the soldiers are affected by the virus except the soldier who was strongest amongst them. The survivor cried out for help and said I will tell you whatever you want, but since there was no one to watch on the CCTV, no one saw it. He too was eaten by his soldiers.

In the dawn, a CCTV checker sat on the seat to watch what was happening inside and was frightened to see the horrific scene in the room. He saw that all the soldiers were eaten 90%, and their skeletons were visible. The Syrian soldiers soon rushed to the room to check what had happened, and with surity of the body which was 90% eaten, they were declared dead. When the news had reached Turkey, they condemned for the death of their six of the fellow soldiers. The case had been closed due to some law issues between the war broke countries. Syria had lost the war after 2 years of the incident. When law was rearranged and made perfect, the case of the six soldiers was reopened. 

Investigators had found out an hole in the ethargeline sturbenol gas tank, from which the gas was leaking out. It was sure that someone has purposely done it according to the hole formation. It was understood that a day before, a plumber who wanted to make hole in the water chamber so that he could pass water through it. Due to a power cut in the area, the plumber misunderstood the water chamber with ethargeline sturbenol gas tank and made a hole in it. However, due to power cut, the plumber told the Syrian soldiers who were monitoring the room, that he will transfer the water pipeline to the water chamber at the dawn as the chamber is empty. This made the gas leak, and after the soldiers smelled the gas, the had put the inhaler mask, because for them, these things were common as they used to wear mask for any type of unknown gas in the surroundings. 

This resulted that the weakest one among the captured had lost ethargeline sturbenol from his body first and he was the first to be the victim and the strongest one to be the last, but this reacted so powerfully that there was no survivor left. It is believed that before the investigation and after the incident, some Syrian soldiers were eaten so badly that their skeletons were visible. Their body to be found in the morning. The Syrian soldiers guarding and researching the room in which the Turks were captured, were dead between the two years. Their cause of death is being eaten by something which they don't know. Even the plumber who had come for transfer of water was also eaten to death. Till date it is believed that if Syria catches a Turk soldier, the soldier who had catched the Turk is eaten to death. The captured Turk was found dead by the next day after capture but not being eaten but by something but a natural death or suicide. It is said that the captured Turks are not eaten but natural death and suicide were the cause because the soldier's soul doesn't want the captured Turk reveal anything about his country.

The soldiers who had deep patriotism about their country were dead in such a cruel way. May their soul rest in peace and their patriotism for their country submerged beneath their heart may lie deep within.
