Raghav had a dark secret. He had committed a crime which gave him sleepless nights. Neither he had peace of mind nor did he have zeal to live life happily.

Raghav is a criminal lawyer. He had never taken cases up the criminals whom he knew or thought that they had committed the crime. In short, he was an honest lawyer.

But things are not the same always. Some years ago he was passing through financial constraints. His house was going to be confiscated by the bank as he was unable to pay their loans. His daughter's medical admission was at stake as he did not have money to give. His father's treatment required money. All these things drove Raghav to accept the case of Raka who was a local goon and had cases of extortion and unlawful bindings and kidnappings in his name. The police had arrested him after a brave resident had collected enough courage to stand against him and give his testimony.

However due to Raghav's support(he defended Raka's case), Raka was acquitted.

After that although the financial troubles of Raghav ended, but it also ended the tranquility of his mind. He began to remain aloof and often felt guilty for what he had done.

One day he happened to meet Shekhar, his childhood friend who had come to the city after a long gap. Shekhar was living in Oman where he was working in a oil company.

While conversing with Shekhar, Raghav told him about his misdoing. Shekhar knew Raghav had guilty feeling and that he had done wrong. He gave him soothing words and told him not to do such things again in future. And to take the help of friends like him when he needs any support whether financially or mentally.

After that he took his leave and asked Raghav to leave the matter unto God who would impart punishment to the miscreants and do justice in the mean time.

Raghav felt a little bit of relief after sharing his dark secret with his dear friend.
