The morning wasn’t as pleasing as Jason expected. He woke up with a quick start with his friends at doorstep. He dressed himself up quickly. And, he was ready in 15 minutes.

“So, I think you are 15 minutes late.” Malrus said.

“Oh…I can’t be sure. It can be possible that you are 15 minutes early.” Jason said.

“Leave it. Remember we are not here for time relativity.” Julius said.

They started for the address. The streets were as busy as usual. Families going to restaurants. Police running behind thieves. Children playing and walking in groups. Cars and bikes running past each other. Everything seemed so familiar until they founded Burn stove Café. A waiter greeted them as they entered inside and took them to a seat before they could even ask about Madrin.

A young lady came with a paper and pen in her hand. She was about 24 with a charming smile on her face. Her blue eyes looked upon the three children who were on a quest to find Madrin. Her hair was tied back with golden satin ribbons.

“What should I bring for you all?” she asked.

“Um…three cups of cold coffee.” Jason replied back like he was still thinking which was better- hot chocolate or cold coffee.

“Sure.” She said heading back.

After she was gone, Julius whispered,

“Remember, we are not here for a youth picnic or coffee.”

“I know. But what would I have said? Once we have this, I will ask her for Madrin.” Jason replied back.

After a few moments, Julius said, “I haven’t bought any money.”

“Oh no. I forgot.” Jason thought.

“Don’t worry. I have.” Malrus assured them.

The drank the cold coffee in silence. Its taste seems to energize them. After all, starting a day with a cup of cold coffee wasn’t bad enough.

After that they made it to the counter. A boy no more than 12 was sitting there.

“You are at the counter?” asked the amused Julius.

“Yep.” The boy replied.

“You run the whole café?” Jason asked.

“Boss is up there.” The boy replied pointing at the stairs placed at far end of the café.

“Can you take us to him?” Julius asked.
