It was the most luxurious place they ever saw. A great white tall mansion filled with dazzling electric lights. Its windows as tall as a door. Oh man! It was beautiful. Jason never thought that his grandfather lived in this mansion.

“It’s no doubt, grandpa would have been to great success.” Jason said.

They reached to the top of the villa. The top of the mansion was full of green plants. And amazingly the didn’t died. How? Grandfather died about thirty years ago and as far as Jason knew nobody came here after that. Then again that line that the crazy mad dude said came to his mind. He let the thought aside. Maybe some miracle kept the plants alive. Or rain. But a small part of his brain was still not agreeing. Jason shared his notes about the prophecy to his friends.

“You bought us here for this?” Julius growled though there was worry and anger and sadness mixed in it.

“It has to be me only guys. Grandpa died 30 years ago from today. And today is the red moon only.” Jason said trying to sound confident.

“No, Jason. We can’t let you-” Julius stopped herself with tears dripping out of her coffee colored eyes.

“You have to.” Jason said.

“No. Please Jason.” Malrus pleaded.

“No guys. It’s the only option.” Jason insisted.

The two friends knew that they can’t do anything in front of Jason. They sat together waiting for the moon to come. Julius shared her cupcakes she bought. They silently ate.

Nobody thought of the upcoming thing. They tried to remember the happy best moments.

Probably, this was their last sit together.

The dead moon came. From the top of villa Jason could see withered old empty trees and behind that the super red moon. Jason headed to the red spot of blood where his grandfather died.
