- Kalli was reading the today’s newspaper and had a smile with the constant flowing of thought inside him that "what actually are facts and sometimes what needs to be exhibit before the world" but then he thought that sometimes it is far better to showcase the decorated lies than saying the ugly truth and this wave of thought by default brought a layer of stress on his forehead.

- Today he had a meeting with the high ranking officials of the Indian Navy to justify his deeds which he did in the last few days to present his side of the truth . Why he had put his country’s reputation on stake before the whole world and now all the brand ambassadors and Diplomats have to answer before the United Peace Organization about the actions our country took.

- The saturation limit of his diving mind was about to overflow so to distract it, he put on the power button of television and

- All the news channels were constantly flashing one breaking news and that brought a smile to his face . The whole world was talking about this incident and suddenly the flashes of the past came to the forefront memory of him from the secondary part.

But then his mind showed some sympathy towards him and blessed him with the thought of why he had done all this,

The power of humanity is above all the other materialistic works and that brought a smile on his face.

The news on television was

- Srilanka on Friday, granted permission for the high tech chinese tracking vessel Yuan Wang5 to dock at the Hambantota fort after India failed to give concrete reasons for why they opposed its arrival.

- The reason kaali had to attend this meeting because it was him only because of which SL had postponed it for four days that is what Indian navy did.

- He was thinking about all these, and the phone rang . It was his colleague who gave him a reminder that his meeting will be in the next half an hour. This was the second time he was taking public transport because he was in no state to drive a vehicle.

- In about twenty minutes he was standing in front of the two officers who were appointed by the Government of India to find out the actual truth behind all these.

- They put on the voice recorder and asked him to tell all the incident with full details and they just want to hear the truth and nothing else.

- Kaali started saying: Truth, What is truth? Everyone has a version of it according to their convenience. Everybody wants to win in their life and according to that they just mould the truth. Take for example the history books of India and Pakistan .

- Officers:Huh? What is the relation between truth and History books? Isn’t History is THE TRUTH.

- Kaali: You are so naïve sir. See all the past , present and hopefully the future writers are playing a scam here. It's their perspective only about someone or something which we read in the books and articles. What they have taken or understood about some person or a place , they write it down and like a herd of Sheep we just follow it blindly and take it as truth.

- Coming back to my example of History books of India and Pakistan. In our History books , we won the battle of Kargil and in their history books, it is them who trampled us.

- And speaking of 'truth and lies', the term "patriarchy" always comes into picture. We have been living in the world of patriarchy since the time immemorial and now the circumstances are so worse that sometimes men don’t even realize their limitations and do not know the wrong they are doing. Sir, you see "The lines are blurred here and also it is very subjective in nature".

The name itself suggests MALE CHAUVINISM only . "HIS- Story" so how do you think it will be written without UNDERLINING the glorification of these creatures having the pronoun “His”.

- Officers interrupted him in between: We understand all this but what do you want to say through all this preachment.Just tell us about the details of the last month happenings on the port.

- Kaali: The actual problem is this sir, that you heard it as a preaching but it is a Universal truth but Okay , I understood that it is not your mistake. The whole world has become like this and even our women have accepted this and live their life accordingly. Let's address the elephant in the room and start our story:

- See sir , I was a normal software programmer, who enjoys his work of coding in different applications. I had a small group of friends with whom I used to party on the weekends and this was my life.

Until one day I got a call from one of the senior officers of your department that they need someone to hack some accounts of politicians and also of some business tycoons and this would be very confidential information and I couldn't tell anybody about this.

- As you already know , In the world of coding, I am the Sachin.T in understanding the most complicated codes. I did their work for about a month and on the last day of my work I transferred all the information in a Pen drive from my computer and drove my vehicle to the Main office of your department.

In the midway I got the call from the same senior that some chaos has happened and the person who would be most affected by this information is trying to leave the country with a huge amount of diamonds to smuggle it.

- As the information was so sensitive that only five members knew about this mission, he requested me to distract the smuggler for sometime and meanwhile they will spread a trap on the port with all their highly skilled officials to catch him.

-

- Another disadvantage we had in this chase was if the smuggler would carry 1000 kg of drugs and after that it did not come under the authority of India and we could not do anything .

- To distract the police the smuggler was travelling in the city through the public transport

-

- The police could not hurt him because he had all the information about the other terrorist activities that are going to happen in the whole world , they had planned in the next five years.

- So, to divert the attention from the main thing he injured the driver of his vehicle and for a taxi , he was standing on the road and after getting all this information from that senior,I, with the trembling hands I was standing next to his godaam as the driver of the taxi.

- To take out the information from him I start the conversation. The flashback of the conversation goes like this

-

- Smuggler: Docks

- Kaali looked at his highly advanced gadget that looked like a clock to send the signals to his officers that they could start their investigation in his house and also start to spread the trap on the port.

- Smuggler in frustration: I said ‘docks’ not Clocks you idiot.

- Kaali was looking in the car’s mirror to keep a track on his activities and again try to start the conversation.

- Kaali started the engine of the car and the car started to run on the road.

- Kaali : The heat of this city is unbearable Sir and also it doesn’t look like there is going to be rain anytime soon.

The smuggler did not respond to this and kaali saw he was looking outside the window , may be to keeping a track of police

- Kaali : I hope sir you don’t take this the wrong way but you are very handsome.

- Smuggler: How much more time will it take?

Even the annoyed response gave courage to Kalli and he resumed the talks.

- Kaali: You seem new to the city Sir.

- This time smuggler replies properly,

- Smuggler: No I’ ve been here once before, But that was a long time ago.

- Kaali: And this time….

- Smuggler : No… I’ am looking for someone here that’s why I’ am here.

- Kaali In a very surprising voice: How did you know what I was going to say?

-

-

- Kaali: Do you mind sir if I ask you something?

- Smuggler: If you have already thought about it, then what’s the fear coming out from your mouth, Go ahead.

- Kaali: Sir I have never ferried someone so late and that too at the docks.

- Meanwhile officers were doing their work but they messaged kaali that it would take much time so kaali again continued the conversation so that the smuggler wouldn't notice that he had the longest route to the port.

- Smuggler: Then it's good, right? You earn your first haul from it.

- Kaali: it’s not about the money sir…..,

- Smuggler interrupted him in between: And it shouldn’t be either, As the saying goes “Money today , gone tomorrow, again comes day after tomorrow!”. It’s your character that all matters.

- Kaali looked at him from the front mirror and gave a sarcastic smile after hearing the word "character" from someone like a smuggler and continued the conversation.

- Kaali: Sir, can I tell you another thing?

- Smuggler: hmmm

- Kaali: sir you look like a mafia king from the 70’s world, probably someone like a mob boss.

- Smuggler gave a careless smile : yes, that is true. You are right, I’ am THE DON.

- Kaali out of fear started coughing, Smuggler patted his hand on his shoulder and told him to relax.

- Smuggler continued his talk.

- Smuggler: Have you ever heard of Don Haaji

- Kaali( collects all his strength and takes care of breaking voice: Who hasn’t sir, But isn’t he gunned down in an encounter?, the police force had trampled him like a mosquito . It was like "The end of Evil era and etcetera.

After saying this he realised that he should read the room first before saying such things.

- Kaaali (in an apologetic tone and the fear inside him gave a lot more help to have that apologetic tone as the character he was playing got merged with it completely and it came out very naturally to him) : I’am sorry sir, actually that's how I read it in the newspaper. Blame it on the newspaper Publisher sir and not me. Actually I read it in the newspaper.

- Smuggler again in his careless smile: Don’t worry. I will not harm you.But tell me Do you believe in everything that is told to you?

- Kaali: No sir, but……

- Smuggler: It was a rumour spread by the cops.

- Kaali: Ohh okay…

- Smuggler: I was in Dubai during that “alleged” encounter.

- Kaali whispered : ohh my God! Does it mean the mafia is still alive ?

- Smuggler: Not like before.Yes, but it still exists.

- Kaali: So you are going to the docks to smuggle something.

- Smuggler : haha, No, there is cemetery in the docks, that’s where I’ m headed

- Smuggler: Do you believe in God?

- Kaali: Sometimes yes, Sometimes No, Sometimes may be, Kbhi kabhi mere dil mein khayal aata hai(sometimes ,something emerges in my heart)….. Depends on my Mood.

- Smuggler: So, what if I tell you that I’ am god then what would be your mood then? .

- Kaali: You have a great sense of humour sir, best If I say nothing at all.

- Smuggler: No, I’ m serious. I am God.

Kaali gave a careless smile .

Smuggler: You are thinking now That If he really is god then why is he travelling in my taxi, when he can fly instead? Correct?

Kaali in his stammered voice: No sir… I Mean yes I was thinking that…but no….

Smuggler: It’s not your fault. I’ ve programmed you to think this way.

Kaali in a confusing tone: Programming?... this one computer kind or television kind?

Smuggler smiled at him and replied: the computer kind,

Kaali whispered: How interesting sir!, Do you know I Am too a programmer by profession.

Smuggler smiled at him and started looking outside the window.

Kaali: Do you watch movies aor read fiction novels very often?

Smuggler: No.

Kaali: Okay tell me, Would you have believed me , If you were in my place

Smugg;ler: means?

Kaali: Do you believe me I told you that I’ am God?

Smuggler: : Sometimes yes, Sometimes No, Sometimes may be, Kbhi kabhi mere dil mein khayal aata hai….. Depends on my Mood.

Kaali: Hmmm.

Smuggler: So you are still wondering if I Am telling you the truth or Not.

Kaali: yes… I mean no sir.

Smuggler: So,if I show you that I can fly , will you believe me then?

Kaali: Now you are making fun of me. You know what Sir, maybe your programming is at fault?

Smuggler: For the first time in this whole conversation, you are correct. Actually that’s why I am here in search of my programmer.

Kaali in sarcasm: Is he also some kind of god Sir?

Smuggler: No, he is a Writer.

Kaali: there you go again sir, I mean , I’ ve got to hand it to your sense of humour. It’s quite interesting and refreshing.

Suddenly Smuggler bring out a screw diver from his bag and seeing this from the car mirror, Kaali stopped the taxi and said

Hearing the name kaali, don’t be confused with “death and violence”. I only kill demons. The actual meaning of my name is Being Receptive, loving and Supportive.

 End of chapter 1
