Crocodile Tears

I personally don't understand why Earth Day is being celebrated by humans. 

Humans themselves are responsible for the destruction of beautiful earth and its invaluable treasures and assets.

These assets like air and water are essential for human life. But we never cared. We embraced the industrial revolution with both arms and got benefitted by making our lives comfortable with new technologies. These technologies have seeds of pollution and destruction of the earth's atmosphere.

Then what is the meaning of celebrating earth day? Simply rubbish and height of foolishness. We humans can't do anything to stop the destruction of earth and restoration. 

Celebrating Earth Day is shedding crocodile tears.
