It's been a long time I have come to Beijing, China with my family. I came here 6 years ago. I was then a university student at Tsinghua University, the most reputed university here. Only I got the chance from my college to read here. I thought myself so lucky. I also got a friend here who is now my husband. He as like me came to read here. I had pride in myself to be here. But this pride turned into a curse on the cold month of February of 2020. I didn't thought myself to be so unlucky. I was not afraid of the Corona Virus but I was afraid of losing my Family who is my only concern. I was an architect here. My husband had a business. We had much money but we lacked courage and support. My parents live in India. I called them. They were crying and saying, "Lily, please come back the situation is too worse! We beg you. If you die, remember we will not be able to breathe for a moment."I didn't know anything to say but cut the phone. My lips were trembling. The first time I knew they love me more than their lives. Yet I didn't give time to them. I regretted.

Luckily I didn't have any baby. If I had I would die of frightening. My husband Virat, he was going to the office regularly. When I looked at the news, my eyes were like watching his dead body. That view can't be described in words. The people of Uhan didn't agree fully. They were coming to Beijing for help. Their footsteps were like stopping our heartbeats. The panic was beyond my realization. After a few days, I was sleep. I saw my grandma. She was looking brightly smiling and shining like a star. She came to me. She touched my cheeks and she said, "You will be alright, my Dudli".I woke up and went to flashback. I saw a cat which I and Grandma bought from a canal. It was so injured. It fought with a dog. But it recovered very soo. Grandma told me it was so brave because it wanted to live. It didn't wanted to lose its beautiful life in earth which is only given once. I named it 'Dudli'.I returned from my flashback and realized what my grandma wanted to tell me. The next day,I prepared myself to fight this virus. I encouraged my husband too. This time when my husband was leaving at the door I didn't say him"Be careful".I said to him"Come back safe. Whatever happens, I am with you as I have promised." He gave me a smile that I had ever seen!
