Several people were staying in a slum. They were happily enjoying their stay in that community. Everyone was doing well in their lives.

One day, one old man got sick. Later on another lady, one young man also became sick. This trend continued for 2-3 days. Then the people of the village called the doctor.

The doctor checked those three patients. Surprisingly, all three of them were suffering from stomach aches and detected with food poisoning. All the villagers were confused. What is this and how does it spread?

The doctor observed here and there and found the slum to be very dirty. People were not at all maintaining hygiene. Their rooms were not cleaned, neither their clothes. Everywhere mosquitoes and flies were found in groups. They do not even cover their food and do not wash their hands before taking food.

After observing all these, the doctor explained to them in detail that the maintenance of hygiene is really important. "Here your food is open and mosquitoes, flies from the drain are sitting over it and you people are not washing your hands properly before food by which germs are entering through all these ways." As a result, any kind of disease can be invited.

He again suggested keeping their houses clean, to eat and drink clean food and water, to wash their clothes properly, to take care of their children, to maintain cleanliness all around.

After getting advice from the doctor, all the villagers promised to follow all his words otherwise the rest of the people will also get the infection.

The sick patients were given medicine prescribed by the doctor and got well soon.

MORAL OF THE STORY- Maintain cleanliness all around.
