Ch 6. A Diseased Relationship

‘I have taken a big step. My friends have left for Agra and I am here. What if they tell my father?'

These thoughts were wandering in her mind. But, she trusted her friends more than herself.

She picked up her mobile phone to call Rohan but to her surprise, there were six missed calls from his number. She calls him.

‘Hey handsome, what is the plan for today? She asked.

‘Whatever you say,’ said he.

‘Meet me at five outside my Hotel Ramada Dehradoon Chakrata Road,’ Alisha said

‘Okay!’ Rohan agreed.

Alisha was very excited. She began to build castles in the air; after all, it was her first date.

That day, time was moving really slowly. Alisha was waiting for her future boyfriend outside the hotel. Finally, he arrived.

‘Wow! You are looking dashing in Pink shirt,’ Alisha gave him a hug.

‘You are also looking nice in this black dress,’ said Rohan.

He was on a motorbike. Alisha climbed on the bike and he rode the bike.

‘Hey, you drive very slowly. Get down, I will drive,’ Alisha said.

‘Do you know how to drive?’ asked Rohan.

‘I can try if you guide,’ said she.

‘Okay then,’ he was also in a fun mood. ‘But where are we going,’ he asked.

‘Just trust me, I will take you to the most chilled out place in Dehradun,’ Alisha said.

Finally, they reached the Disc Head over Heels. Alisha forgot everything, her friends, family, and father. She just wanted to drink and dance with Rohan. ‘I think I love him already,’ she said to herself. That was the best day of her life and she wished these moments to freeze. But time slipped like sand from her hands.

‘I think we should leave now,’ Rohan said.

‘Can’t we stay some more?’ Alisha made a puppy face.

She closed her eyes and kissed him softly. ‘Okay, message me your hotel address. I will meet you tomorrow,’ said she.

Alisha was very happy. She had found the love of her life and can’t wait to spend priceless moments with him.

Next day.

She buys flowers and goes to meet Rohan. She opens the hotel room and finds Rohan with a foreigner boy in a compromising position.

‘Listen Alisha!’ Rohan stops her.

But she was in no mood to listen.

‘How can you play with my feelings?’ said she.

‘You were only running after me. I was not a bit interested in you,’ Rohan confronted.

She left after showering some Punjabi verbal abuses and curses on him and immediately booked a train ticket and left for Agra without telling anything to anybody.
