CAMBIO
Leaving you have changed me drastically, I no longer trust people, all I can see is the mean bone behind their smiles. I search patience with a vengeance, calm with anxiousness and love by your name.
I don’t listen to my old playlist anymore, I skip songs that remind me of you or that bench past college gate or coffee or the bridge you promised me forever at. I skip everything that reminds me of you; also I skip breathing sometimes.
I loved you enough to let go and you said it wouldn’t change. You left on a normal day. And did not come back. You left me without any closure, just like a bee leaving its comb promising honey and never coming back, and I, like a bee, kept waiting in that comb believing that maybe one day you would come back.
But you never did and that was the very day, I stopped believing in love.
