Broken Hearts

 Arjun was heartbroken and Naina was in a forced relationship. This was the only thing, they had in common - their unsuccessful love lives. 

Both work in the same company, but on a different post. Arjun didn't know about Naina but she knew him. When he saw her for the very first time, she was screaming. He felt weird and thought she was such a weirdo. Even she had the same feeling about her arrogant boss.

Naina hates her boss as much as she hates her fiancee. She was ambitious but her roots were still present deeply somewhere. She wants to fly high in the sky, but not that much that she could not see the ground. She was working very hard for promotion. He noticed her for the very first time, at that very moment. She was screaming because her colleague was promoted instead of her.

 When he saw her, he felt weird but that 2 to 3 minutes brought Naina in his notice forever. The very next day, he started keeping an eye on her. He overlooked her work. He had seen her in various moods. He was somehow impressed with her dedication to work. Even he didn't know when he got attracted to her. For knowing her better, he wanted to spend some time with her.

He got the perfect excuse for it- their upcoming project. He gave the project to her. Everyone including her was shocked. It was one of the major projects for the company and everyone felt that Naina won't be able to handle it. What was the reason that he himself gave that project to her? Naina was elated as well as amazed. She got a bit worried after giving it a second thought. That project needs dedication, time, effort. Arjun expected Naina to put all this into this project. She was unaware of his plans.

They got to know each other. Arjun found healing medicine in Naina for his broken heart. He was shocked to know about her fiance. He thought that he would be heartbroken once again but this time, he wants to get his love anyhow. Even Naina enjoyed his company. She used to forget all her worries when she was with him.

Slowly, she opened herself to him. She told him about her family and about that forced relationship. Her fiancee was her father's choice and it was his last wish, that she was completing. She was only bearing that torture for her father.  

Her fiancee used to question her whereabouts every now and then. Whenever they would meet, he used to check her phone. If any other guy by mistake present in her call logs or chat, it would surely become a long day for Naina. 

Arjun also opened about his failed relationship - after he came to know that his so-called girlfriend was cheating on him, that too with his best friend only.

Sometimes Naina felt a bit of awkwardness towards him. They were working on the same project when Naina got a call but she cut it. It happened twice or thrice. He asked her but she denied. Soon after, she got a call from her mother. She came outside to attend the call, but she found her fiancee.

He was just about to slap her when Arjun came and stopped him. That day, Arjun confessed his feelings for Naina in front of both of them. Even Naina was shocked hearing that.

After a lot of quarrels, Arjun was successful in freeing Naina from that bond.

He got her friendship but couldn't get her love.

 Naina still considered him as a friend only...
