BREATHE

I couldn't breathe, when you held me in your arms for the last time. it was like a pre-autumn fall, like a raindrop in a cold winter night, freezing and cold and so were you. Your warm hazel eyes didn't seem familiar, your hands stiff and cold.

And then you said, "Promise! you won't give up on life," and I said,"I won't."

And you left all of us, peacefully lying in my arms, battling off all the struggle.

Only if I could say, i would have said that how mad I was at you for leaving me, how much I loved you. only if you could hear and for the first time i felt like I lost a part of me..that was the very day I stopped believing in fate.

I'm breathing, and I promise I'll breathe forever.
