Break The Chains And Fly

Meera, comes from a conservative and old traditional family background but her dreams were big. She wanted to study, go abroad and live her dreams.

But her father never understood her and always retained her from following her dreams. As she was a very bright student of her school. She was good in both studies as well as in co-curricular activities.

Once, her principal called her and told her about the Scholarship oriented Poetry Writing Competition organised by the Indian Government for the best 10 students of top five schools of her state and will be awarded free admission in Howard University, Washington.

Without asking her parents, she immediately agreed to it and was among 3 students who were selected in this competition from her school.She was very happy and just felt that may be this is the beginning of her dreams to come true. But then she realised that what will happen if her father comes to know about this.

Her friends convinced her and motivated her to talk about this with her father and convince him with a whole heart.However she agreed and succeeded in convincing her father because when she thought about the dream about which she thought every second, she just lost all her fear and told her father that "I want to live my dream, I want to go abroad, I want to FLY and break the myth that girls are lesser than boys". Her father was into tears and felt proud of her daughter.

She went and lived her dreams.
