Blood Red Lipstick - Chapter 4 : The old friend

                                                           

It felt like time was slowing down. Aaron's phone slowly fell to the ground. While he fell Against the wall. His heart tore at him. No, He thought, Saanvi, could not have died. The phone's descent came to a stop, It shattered across the floor causing Everyone in the house to rush over to Aaron. He could not register anything. He was starting to have difficulty breathing. His heart pounded. He could not believe that the killer went to the extent of killing the only reason why Aaron wanted to be alive! Aaron's mind screamed. Why was the killer targeting Him? What did he do? then his mind's voice became softer when it said, What did Saanvi do? why did he kill Saanvi?

One scream registered, it was Shalini's 

"I think he needs a doctor! Somebody help."

Aaron did not protest. he let them take him to the hospital. the only thing that repeated over and over in his mind were the words,

"She died because of me."

Suddenly Aaron started seeing red. The killer would pay. he would rip him apart. limb from limb. He would give him the most painful death. Saanvi would be avenged. The killer would pay. 

Aaron was admitted to the hospital for pre-shock therapy. just a few days. he was in the military he had a high resistance level. and he needed to get back to the case, He wanted to make the Killer feel every bit of pain he felt, Every Damn bit. 

Aaron was discharged from the hospital, on the 24th of November. 5 days after the Call. The Doctors were still a bit hesitant about letting him go. but he insisted so. One person was waiting for him. His old friend. Who's in the C.I.D. Vishal. 

Vishal looked very worried and the second he saw Aaron, He came running over and hugged him. It was a Genuinue Act of pure Love. Aaron dissolved in the Warm embrace, He needed it. Vishal and Aaron's Friendship Dates back to their school grades, The pranksters of the class, Both of them. always in trouble. When they grew up, Vishal Went into C.I.D. Aaron went into The military. They Always met occasionally. Aaron became the serious one. Vishal was always Joking around. Once, Saanvi Aaron and Vishal had met. Vishal had said when Aaron asked him if he planned on getting Married, "I would have taken Saanvi If it wasn't for you! When the right girl comes along sure!" They all erupted in Laughter. those were good days.

Aaron and Vishal sat down. Vishal did not question him about what was happening. They just spoke, about the old times. Vishal was not pressing and that's What Aaron loved about him. 

Vishal and Aaron got up and went to the closest police station, Which was The Wadala Police Station. While they went, Vishal Filled Aaron in on everything that had happened. No one new had died, The Delhi police had found Something And the C.I.D Crew who were working on this case were not very sure that Aaron should Come with them. What the Delhi Police found could be too much for him to absorb.

When Vishal said this, Aaron said Quitely, "They found Saanvi right? Her body?"

Vishal Avereted his eyesight to the ground. Aaron said, "I'm Her family, It's law that I see her."

"It is But, Seriously think about it Aaron, do you think you'll be able to handle it?"

"I Don't Think, I Know I Can Handle It." Aaron Said, His voice was so soft, it felt like he was on the tip of the iceberg.

Vishal did not reply, Aaron had made it clear what he wanted, and there was no changing his mind now.

As they entered the Police station they found Shalini. She was wearing gloves and examining a file, When she saw Aaron she smiled and said, 

"We leave tomorrow for Delhi, I'm guessing you're coming?"

Aaron met the team at the Airport, they had a private plane arranged by the government. Aaron and Vishal Sat right next to each other. During the flight, Vishal kept trying to lighten Aaron's Mood, But Nothing worked. At last, he said,

"I think I know Where Bill Finger got his Idea For Gotham City from, Probably Delhi, They are literally the same!"

Aaron turned from the window and glared at Vishal, Vishal said, "Okay, not the time."

They sat in silence. 

Neither of them spoke a word throughout the flight, When it landed the detective team got out and went to Gurgaon, 

That's when the Game began.
