It was a saddest day for the people in Guduru and nearby remote villages. Several people were suffering from peculiar types of disease and dying without medical care. The survivors' cries reached the sky.

Tears flowed in the eyes of Dr. Aniket, a young cardiologist in Pavanpur, while he was watching the nine pm t v news. He was emotional and thought being a doctor it was his primary duty to serve the sick. His inner voice directed him to go to Guduru and save the lives of poor people.

Dr. Aniket decided to visit Guduru, a remote village for the noble purpose of giving free treatment to the poor villagers. The place was unknown to him.

He searched Guduru on the  Google search web. The village is situated 50  kilometers away from Pavanpur and five kilometers inside the national highway. It was very difficult to reach the village from the highway due to the mud road mixed up with pieces of stones and thorns.  During the rainy season, it was highly impossible to reach the village either by walk or by vehicle. The nearest hospital from Guduru is situated 25 kilometers away.

Aniket could not keep his emotion and told his wife,

" Sumi, (he affectionately calls his wife Suman as Sumi) just a few minutes back,  I was shocked to watch on the television news about the horrible condition of several patients, who are dying without medical care in Guduru and surrounding remote villages.  My conscience says to go and save the poor villagers and construct a hospital."

"Ani, (she calls Aniket as Ani) getting emotion is different, and jumping into action is quite different. Let us think about the  issue of construction of a hospital at an opportune time. It requires huge investment, manpower, a perfect plan, and vast open land, etc. When huge money is invested any prudent man thinks about profitability. At present, the need of the hour is to attend to the critical patients at Guduru. I suggest you go to the village immediately and set up a medical camp for a couple of days initially with the cooperation of villagers. I will also join you as and when I get time. Before leaving, please contact the village head and inform him about your task."

"Sumi,  thank you for your support  for my noble plan. I too agree with your views that before implementing the plan, we have to think of the feasibility of the project.  Right now, I will contact the village head and inform you of the position."

Her parents also appreciated Aniket  and promised their active involvement in the project.

Aniket had completed five years of practice and gained a very good reputation. He was practicing along with his wife and in-laws in a 500 bed Sanjeevani Multi Speciality Hospital.  Suman belongs to a well to do family of doctors, whereas Aniket belongs to a poor family. Right from high school to medical education, he was a meritorious student. Suman and Aniket were classmates in medical college. It was a love marriage.

Suman also suggested Aniket visiting  Guduru once in a week was a good idea. Certainly, it was a difficult task.

Aniket received a positive response from Harshavardhan, a village head and President of the  Guduru village panchayat.  Aniket took the van on the same day with two junior doctors, one male nurse and one female nurse with required medicines. He left Pavanpur  in the morning and reached Guduru in the afternoon.

Harsha was waiting for the medical team. The hall in the panchayat office was kept ready. Without wasting time, Dr. Aniket commenced work. There was a long queue of patients. By the time about 500 patients were examined, it was six am. The remaining patients were told to come after one hour. By evening on that day all the patients of Guduru and nearby villages were over. Villagers were happy and impressed by his non-stop work. Most of the patients were cured.  Dr. Aniket called all the prominent persons of the village and assured them to visit Guduru depending upon the need.

Harsha offered his 3 acre land as a gift for the hospital building. Aniket and his team left the village the next day in the evening and reached Pavanpur at midnight.

The open land near Hanuman temple outside the village offered by Harsha  was under dispute and adjacent to Hanuman temple. The devotees of Lord Hanuman visiting the temple for puja, bhajan, and keerthana were also interested to buy the open site.

In spite of all this, Aniket decided to go ahead. He thought the opening of a hospital here would be a boon to Guduru and nearby villages.  They were suffering a lot to reach the distant hospital. He was aware that a huge investment in this project initially would fetch no returns and certainly start getting income after some years.

Aniket's visit to Guduru was successful and the news appeared in the national newspapers. He continued his visit to the village once a week.

Aniketa  served the people selflessly.

After six months the entire villagers approached Harsha. By the time all the legal hurdles were cleared. A group of people  told him to give the three  acres of land to the newly formed trust for construction of the hospital. Few villagers came forward and contributed to the trust. Harsha agreed to all the conditions. He also agreed to contribute the amount aalong with the villagers. Mahesh, a cousin of Harsha, protested this sale. All his efforts to stop the sale of land were futile.

The hospital building was completed after three years on the same land with a provision to spare land for Hanuman temple building and kids’ playground.  The hospital was named as " Manoj Multispeciality Hospital''.  The hospital was ready  after five years.

The connecting tar road from the highway to Guduru was ready at the time.  The hospital was opened by the honorable minister of medical education of Karnataka.  Other top dignitaries, government officials, Harsha, Dr.Aniket and Dr. Suman  attended the function. The honorable minister in his address expressed happiness for the full fledged hospital in Guduru.

Dr. Aniket was successful in his efforts.  He won the hearts of villagers. They very well knew that the impossible task was possible for him because of Dr. Suman, whose encouragement gave a boost to Dr.Aniket.

Dr. Suman proved that 'for every successful man there is a woman'.
