Baba Harbajan Singh

I know some of you might have heard his name for the first time and especially if you don’t watch television. Many of you would now that struggle faced by some actors to get to a starting position from scratch, but very little of you might know about him. I insist I also didn’t know him until this Independence Day. I am happy that I know someone who was so dedicated to his duty towards his company. He was so dedicated to saving his country that you will be surprised to hear that it is said that he gives his duty even till today after his death at the Indian borders.

He has a temple dedicated to him because of his contribution to the nation. His temple is located in East Sikkim. According to legend, he drowned in a glacier while leading a column of mules carrying supplies to a remote outpost. His remains were found after a three-day search. His body was subsequently cremated with full military honors. It is also said that the people at the border can even feel slap when they are not paying attention. Now let's reveal who is this magical person. This is none other than BABA HARBHAJAN SINGH. His service was from 30th June 1965 till this date. He was 20 years old when he started serving the nation. We salute this brave soldier.
