Attack of the Metro !

Huff !Huff! Drishti woke with a start. She had a blurry, unclear nightmare ."Why am I so disturbed? It is a common, usual nightmare. I really must stop watching the 'Wraith continued" series at night !How spooky !" She consoled herself and quickly got ready to go to school .As she boarded her school bus, she noticed something gloomy in the air. The cloud laden sky stared at her with a sad expression, or so it seemed. But, before she could think about it ,her best friend, Dyuti called out ,and said ,"Hey Ms. Daydreamer, ask your wandering mind to come back ,and board the bus fast !" She grinned in response and sat next to her. Within a few seconds, she forgot all her glooms and was happily chattering away. But a sudden jerk ,a screech of brakes,  and a certain amount of events which took place immediately afterwards ,shook every cell of her body,  As the driver was going ahead, A metro bridge, which had been wearing of readily ,had fallen down .The incident occurred in a flash ,without any warning, just like the strike of a lightening ,but caused huge damage to the people and their vehicle. Widespread chaos, fear and grief followed this.  Drishti was startled. She felt that she had been receiving signs from morning. She spent a minute thanking the unseen spirit for saving her in the nick of time. But her gratitude paying ceremony was soon interrupted by some people grieving over the shortage of ambulance. Many were bleeding heavily  and were at the edge of the death cliff. Drishti felt that she had to do something .There was a lot of empty space in the bus as many students were absent .So ,with the driver's permission and support, she got many victims onto the bus and took them to the hospitals ,and also informed about the chaos, due to which many ambulances were sent out immediately ,and they were successful in preventing any deaths. Next day , a newspaper article was pasted in the front page  of the prime newspaper , which had a headline :
 

' Metro railway line collapses, widespread chaos seen .
