Aspire To Inspire
Aspire To Inspire
This story is based on a real life scenario. Born in a family of lower middle class, living in a 200 carpet area. The joy and happiness of a young soul Smeet Jain was born on 25 April 1995 in Mumbai. Difficulties engulfed me from birth. I started my schooling at a place at a proximity of 2 km from my residence. To get into school was not an easy task. I was offered bribe(laughter) a INR10/- cadbury to speak in the interview round. After interviewing in around 3 schools, finally got enrolled in Rosary High convent school. As we say it dosent matter where are you born, what matters is how you end your life. While completing my schooling , had many challenges to face with.
First it were the neighbours in my residency and full of negatives. To achieve greatness the underlying principle is to be confident in your process, have faith and company of friends who are there with you in bad phases. At age of 16 being a matured kid, started to think what should be my career or rather which field should I opt, this questions generally turn up as there are multiple areas to explore and given no counselling it becomes really difficult choose your career path. I joined commerce in 2010 in H.R College, Churchgate with an ambition to become Chartered Accountant one day. The inspiration to become CA, came from one of our neighbor called Rahul Solanki (CA) - his dedication, passion, poverty driven family, mom stitching clothes to earn livelihood.
These factors charge you up and to strive harder to earn your 'roti, kapda aur makan'. Its of those days of pursuing my CA came to know there is a gang of people better than me in terms intellectual capabilities and score card of 10/12 examinations. I thought how would I compete with so many people, as had never faced stiff competition earlier. My mentor(father) advised to compete with your own-self and not with others. Choices you make gives you the consequences. So this mull-mantras always stayed. I found during my internship days that there is no one to help you , there would be no one to guide you through, the only one who is always there with you is your family(support system). There were mean friends who always used my innocence for their purposes. After all this I qualified in November 2016 attempt.
I started counselling people with my job to support students in their bad times or give them advise on protocol to be set for pursuing life goals.
If you organize your life around your passion into your story and then turn your story into something bigger is what makes you live for long.
