Abol Tabol's Bud

There was a plant named AbolTabol. Once it got a big bud. AbolTabol named it Kob. Initially AbolTabol was quite happy about it. He used to direct all water and mineral to Kob to ensure its health. As Kob gradually bloomed into the flower, all the plants around him went green with envy. AbolTabol was very excited as he recalled his father telling him about the flowers their ancestors had grown. Kob fit those descriptions real well. 

One day AbolTabol was tanning his leaves in the sun when a two legged animal plucked Kob. AbolTabol tried his best not to lose the grip but the animal was far powerful. First sad, then angry, AbolTabol felt like a completely lost world. He was working hard for more buds but the loss replaced his hope with despair. He stopped feeding his buds. After few days, his neighboring plants started flaunting their flowers but AbolTabol didn't go envious. He knew that they would soon experience the two legged animal's harm. As expected, came the animal and plucked the flower. AbolTabol was correct about fate but partially. The neighboring plants didn't stop feeding their buds. He became curious and asked his neighbor "What's the use of feeding buds if they can't survive the bloom?". The neighbor replied "Happiness matters more to us than its shortlivedness."
