Once there were people whose integrity one could never doubt. Among them lived a boy named Zed. As he grew, the world changed. People realized that its not easy to maintain integrity at all times. So they started being rational. Some people who still lived in old ages and blindly followed the traditions were called irrationals.

Zed grew with the world and learnt to differentiate between rationals and irrationals. He married a girl named Zilch who belonged to his community of people who used to act rational while maintaining their integrity. Zed and Zilch gave birth to a boy called Ann. As Ann grew into his teenage years, generation gap between him and his parents started growing. They weren't happy with his friendship with Pi, who belonged to the community of irrationals. While they tried to explain him that irrationals doesn't fit in their rational world, he always used to to tell them that the world has changed and there are no rational or irrational but only real people.

Ann was not the only one of his generation to face the generation gap. As the new generation started growing, they started imagining a new world which is more homogeneous and provides a common identity to all. One of them was Ayi who tried to find the family roots of the people who always used to carry Neg, a thin rod as the sign of their community. Being a curious and imaginative child by birth, Ayi wanted to understand why these people are considered distinct from their counterparts. No side liked this and she was tagged as an outcast.

Ann by now had become a revolutionary and was moved when he listened about Ayi. He decided to help Ayi by marrying her and get her back in society. The life ahead wasn't easy as Ann was too real and Ayi too imaginative. The only thread that kept them bound was the will to erase the lines in society. Their dream supported by continuous struggle paid off when God gifted them a child who they named Complex. True to his name, Complex was an imaginative boy like his mom but at the same time practical in real life like his dad.
