A Visit To Remember!

It was a long journey from Delhi for John. He got down from the train at Kollam in Kerala. Normally his Dad would be there to welcome him; but not today. Dad was recovering from major surgery and in hospital. John felt hungry after the tiresome journey but proceeded to the hospital. Dad was in the ICU and he waited. Many memories came to his mind; the loving care from his father. His mother passed away soon after he was born, but he carried a photograph of his Dad and Mom with him always. He took it and kept looking on...tears filled his eyes. He heard his name being called by the doctor from the ICU. He rose up and walked towards the ICU; the doctor held his hand, smiled and led him into the ICU...He saw Dad, knelt beside the bed and thanked God for giving back his Dad from the jaws of death!
