The day was extremely tiring for me, the continuous assignments, the survival of all the boring lectures, classwork, I never took some time off. I was too busy garnishing the ranks in my division. Usually, I got praises from everywhere, the never-ending good and fake words of appreciation and happiness. I grew tired of it, but till the time I realised it, I already had a hobby… getting first! saving trophies for my academics were not me but just for the people who expected something of me. Even my family was used to it now, that day results were going to be announced, my family already expecting good results asked me about it as I entered the house. I showed my thumb-up indicating the success, they were now used to it. They started to congratulate me, for me this was boring, all I knew all these years was how to study but I guess I left a lot behind! I was not happy anymore with the grades, I was sad.

I sat as usual in the balcony, relaxing and soothing the toxicity out of my body, just breathing. This came as a surprise to me when I actually saw her for the first time, she sat in her balcony too. It was a cold afternoon, she saw me at the same time I saw her. There was this energy charging the environment that I never felt before. The breeze in the air was suddenly turning warm and the surrounding grew more comfortable. The garden below, all of a sudden got lit up, the sounds of the tree leave shuffling were clear. The birds were at their best describing the situation through their songs. The gentle breeze patted my cheeks, as the wind blew her hair, those beautiful hairs! Everything was fading away slowly as her eyes met mine for the first time. Those eyes… just describing them would be to talk about the golden sky, you know a lot about it, you see a lot about it, but no matter how hard you look at it you can never get enough. Those eyes were just depicting the same to me, I was amused by the thrill the moment had to offer. My heart all of a sudden started pounding, I actually felt like I skipped many heartbeats. Those eyes had something magical about them, I was completely lost into them. I could read the expression from those eyes, captivating the moment and capturing the essence. Those eyes had questions, thrill and shyness and many more expressions that can only be felt. I was completely taken by surprise!

I was disturbed by my mother through a loud call asking me to eat something…, I went inside as even she walked in listening to my mother shout, neighbours, eh! My mother was actually worried about my health as I would almost skip lunch every time. Counting the innumerable moments that I enjoyed that day. I came back to my senses by the evening and started preparing for the entrance. I was very busy these days, college, class, assignments, projects. I kept myself occupied almost throughout the day. I got going to my usual business as by the evening getting busy, my friends never call me. As a surprise, they called me that day and were standing at my building premises. I went down to talk to them, they went for the questions, I was busy with the answers. Never knew that she was standing in the lobby, waiting for me, till she came up to me. I that day, felt like seeing her for the very first time. She was looking beautiful as her smile rose like a sun in the meadows. With a warm smile, she approached me as the environment for me was fading away. I wanted to say almost a thousand words all at once… Back to my normal routine life, I was even more excited to go home today. All the day I had been waiting for the moment, I rang the doorbell of my house, kept my bag… and walked straight, in excitement for the balcony!
