A Story Of Young Kalpna Chawla

Kalpana Chawla was born on March 17, 1962, in Karnal, India. She was the first Indian-American astronaut and the first Indian woman in space. She first flew on Space Shuttle Columbia in 1997, as a mission specialist and primary robotic arm operator. Furthermore, Kalpana was a woman of great patience and hard work. And she proved that nothing is impossible if you have a true dedication to your work. According to her teachers, Kalpna always had a great interest in Science.
