A Scene Through Window

A Scene Through Window

Staring at the ocean of headlights from the bus window, I wished for a calm evening before leaving college. It's been 20 mins since I am waiting here. Spending a complete day in the college and then getting stuck at traffic is worst. Seeing no other choice than to wait, I looked around in the surroundings. On one side I could see the pedestrians walking on the red and white blocks pavement. The chit chat of the people walking, the honks of the bikers, women sitting on the benches which are placed on the pavement, and the screamed laughter of students standing on one side of the pavement could be easily heard. A group of young boys and girls who sat on one side in a group playing some street songs were awesome. After all spectators around them were hooting. The bus slowly moved in front a bit and now I could see the petrol pump easily. Even here I could see a rush of vehicles. Turning right I could see from my seat that street lamps were glowing as the night started to take over the sky. The paint of the road divider was turning pale. Due to the construction of the road, I could easily smell tar and the truck of these people was a big hindrance for the other side people. Thus making the traffic go slow and the traffic policemen irritated. As again the bus moved in front I could see a group of girls in a car, whose windows were rolled, wearing some fancy clothes of blue-black colors indicating that a party is going to be held in some corner of the city. After some 10 more minutes my bus finally got freed from the traffic. As I was nearing my stop the bus doors got open and I stepped down. Moving towards my home's direction the Cool breeze and the dampness of the weather gave a classic vibe that it will soon rain.
