A Scary Night

It was late night and I was returning back home from work. I was tried and my only wish was that to lay down on the bed at home. 

My usual route is blocked. I had to go by a deserted path. I was moving slowly when I heard rustle of leaves as anyone at that moment would do, I ignored it. As it moved forward. I had a feeling that I was being followed there was a ghostly silence. Maybe it was true? What shall I do? I am gonna die this question appeared in my mind.

As I moved further suddenly thought that I should stop or it would come to my house. Without further thought, I stopped. The footsteps behind me also stopped. I had to face it now or later. I turned behind and I saw no one was there. I ran as fast as my feet could carry to my home. I heaved a long breathe when j reached home. At next day I consulted a elderly woman in my neighborhood . That's what I got to know the real story. The road I took was as believed by all cursed!! Many Travels had fallen dead without any health reason. The doctors told me that they were in perfect health but dead!!

The cause was unknown...
