A Hide But No Seek..
A Hide But No Seek..
“Jamie! Stop biting your nails" snapped her mother.
“It's alright mom,” said Jamie casually.
Her mother's eyes widened and so Jamie quickly pushed her hand away from her mouth.
She looked around and saw small red ants crawling on the window sill one behind the other. The sharp red, purple and orange tulips amazed her. All objects around her seemed lively. The birds sang and Jamie listened and listened, feeling content.
Suddenly darkness, fear and gloom cut through her memory. For a moment everything is unknown to her. She misses the colours, songs, lively objects and most life. She finds the only good memory of hers fading away.
"No!No!" She cries but the memory is fading. She wants to grab it, hold hard to it and lock it up in her heart but it's gone. Gone Forever.
"Come back, Come back!" She cries but it's too late.
Her mind is blank except for the only image remaining. The image of herself jumping from the fourth-floor window in a game of hide and seek, to be found later lying in a puddle of her own blood.
