A Carom Match
How many time you remembered a single day/a single hour/a single movement for your whole life. If you remembered that day, this day would be game changer/special of your life .Till the age of 30 there are only 7 days which I can never forget in my life. One I already discussed in my previous story. Now here is the second unforgettable day of my life.
This day also gave me a many unforgettable lessons of life. This day is very strange – Aliens comes to our house and they want my blood to open some special door – LOL I am just kidding. It was very usual day like every day. I was in 9th class. We were doing practice for Inter School- State level Carom match. We were having 6 players in our team. Suddenly our PT Sir came, they said only five player will play. Selection criteria is match among six, and looser will not play in tournament. Every player has to play 3 match, in every match there is 3 round. I got tensed, because I devote 6 month what if I not able to play in tournament.
I lost 1st round, I got more tensed then lost 2nd round I lost 1st match badly. There is rest of one hour for the second match, that one hour is like one day. Second match start then again I lost first round. Day off and remaining match will be played on next day. My friends were motivating me, but nothing motivates me at that time. With the heavy heart I reached home, after three stressful hour I question to “someone” why I am not able to perform in match and answer is 1st because of the fear of loss, 2nd more focus on the result rather than in present movement and I asked to “someone “How can I fix this, He said just relaxed, don’t afraid to loose and be focused only on the present. Do not dwell in the past, do not dream of the future and concentrate the mind on present movement. And I did exactly what he said. I played the match with relaxed mind and just concentrate the present and I won all round and played the state level.
It gave me unforgettable lessons of life. I learnt that always be relaxed, we cannot perform when we have fear/stressed/tensed and give reaction when it is actually needed, and always concentrate on the present movement, and thanks to “someone”. and that someone is my internal soul.
