Zoo ( Little One 16/20)

It is vacation time for me and you,

Let's go and visit the zoo.

This is the first time for our daughter dear,

She has never seen wild animals so near.

Elephant was the first to see,

The huge size gave her a trembling knee.

Lioness was sitting close to a rock,

Two little cubs were going around her as hands of a clock.

Joey was sleeping with mama dear,

Creepy crawly were oh so near

She stood like a flamingo on one leg,

And waddle around like a penguin peg.

Of late she is fascinated with hippo toys,

She stared at the hippo family for a long without annoyance.

It was indeed her favourite trip,

There was pure joy and happiness in her leap.
