Zombies
Zombies
Sound of footsteps
Came across their ears
As they were passing through
Mangroves,
Muddy path made their feet
Hardly move,
It was in the light of twilight,
Howls of hyenas
Reverberating with echoes of darkness,
The pair in the drama lost their track,
The sky above turned crimson gloom
And bloody drops drizzled as clouds
Gnawed by blizzards,
The couple, being newly married
Looked for serene environs
Found themselves in the otherwise, footsteps approaching with eerie calmness the couple panicked
And made a run but to their aghast
Realised they were not, In fact,
Something held their feet
And were arrested to stuck at
The same place,
Prayers were hardly
Coming out, become, they like
Living statues with bated breath,
Couldn't make any plans
To escape,
Zombies struck the scene
Prowling to release their soul,
Eyes were popping out, clothes
Were tattered, walked - they towards
The young married couple,
On having their sight the pair shocked
And frightened
But let me say don't take this horror
As a routine cliched affair, rather
This is a story of unfulfilled wishes,
That became deformed with senses.,
They plead the couple to burn their bodies
And help them in integrating with the skies.
