When the waves were dead strong,

When the ocean had bad blood with us,

When you could dive in deep,

When you could drown in peace,

You went on with the storm ,

And you made it just for me.

Me just holding on to you,

Having no idea how tough it could be,

You were the lifeboat in middle of storm,

Giving it all to keep the sea away from me.

How hard it must have been,

That after we had made it to seashore,

For you to know how hurt I had been.

Me standing on ground after all,

Can't thank you enough for saving me.

Just know that all the mess we fought,

Didn't get the chance to touch me.

Physical wounds will heal with time,

But no one can take what you have given me.

Today when I look in waters, I see the reflection smiling at me.
