I'm The Blood That Bleeds
I'm The Blood That Bleeds
I'm no skin, no bones,
No muscle, no teeth,
Right where the skin slits open,
And just as the wound weeps,
I come into existence.
I'm not the kind inside,
I'm the blood that bleeds.
Thicker than water,
Thinner than tears,
Flowing outwards,
Where stains will appear.
Every drop of me counts,
Last left seconds of hope,
But as the whole earth gravitates,
Still outwards it flows.
Every dying cell inside,
Asks million questions,
Every drying drop outside,
Shows no reflection.
