Emotions

Whenever I think I've understood my emotions,

I get challenged by God,

Whether it's my performance on stage,

About which I was very assured,

Yet got nervous and messed it up,

Or it's about the one who broke my trust,

And unintentionally, I again got emotionally involved with them,

I cry in the most unexpected times,

I weep at times when it's not even necessary,

I still care about the people I thought I started hating,

And these emotions often control me.
