Time to be
Time to be
World view in window frame,
Far horizon and soothing waves,
Love, affection, and no pain,
What else can I ask again?
Still no clue of what I lack,
I wonder if it's this and that,
I keep looking in the window view,
So beautiful but still no clue.
Then a water drop speaks to me,
asks me if I enjoy the reap,
tells me it brings greetings from sea,
And that it's time to set myself free.
A life of discovery and a lot to discover,
A time in life for a lot to uncover.
Beautiful view is not promised,
But promised is the depth,
It invites me to take a journey,
Right into ocean's lap.
But should I leave this sandcastle?
So long I've been living here.
Should I leave one life behind,
Just to catch another somewhere?
I make the choice and step forward,
Leaving my everything on the shore,
I get closer to the ocean water,
And I know it's where I'm destined to go.
As I walk along the returning waves,
I see my reflection walking with me,
Appreciating my decision, telling me it's time to be.
