Writing The Pain Away

Who says you can't cry on a page let your pen bleed the tear as your pain appears in words on the torn-off corners of the dusty pages let the ink smudge from the soaked sponge turning the page into smokey eyes as the drop races down will your pen follow your heart as you wallow will your soul feel the pain or shallow words will you stutter as you lose the control and sob on the paper confiding it to be your best friend will it fly up trying to wipe it off your cheek, under your eyes or will it drown itself in the tears, frozen ice.
