Winter Rain
Winter Rain
The purple hues of that wintery night,
I recall seeing the nature’s might,
Running amok those heavy clouds, wild
Scared away, within me, that child.
Thundering their way with flashing spotlight
Raindrops drummed my windows without a respite.
For those countless few hours of unrest,
I lay, hoping, at the nature’s behest.
Raising inquiries within my mind
Of logical and dialectic kinds,
Envisioning, crafting a certain melange
As lightning had cold rainy night blanched.
The aftereffects of which I
Observe from behind my window sill.
A world of possibilities
Is all that there is, if you will.
Troubled skies
Naked trees.
Weather it is!
Or whether it is?
Breeze embracing turmoil,
Upheaveled yet calm soil,
And a uniquely pleasurable pain:
All poured down through this winter rain.
